When Art & Culture meet Technology
In my role as a Digital Transformation Consultant for Think Tanger, I spearheaded initiatives that significantly boosted their digital presence. By implementing strategic social media campaigns and leveraging data analytics, I was able to expand the agency’s Instagram following from 5K to 10K within just six months. This growth not only increased brand visibility but also engaged a wider audience, fostering a stronger community around art, culture, and design.
Tackling Organizational Challenges
Think Tanger faced several organizational challenges that impeded its growth and efficiency. The existing HR tools and processes were outdated, leading to misalignment between job profiles and actual requirements. Additionally, the lack of integrated digital tools like CRM systems, online booking platforms, and project management software hindered operational efficiency. The overarching challenge was to create a cohesive strategic vision that aligned all functional areas of the organization.
Implementing Strategic Solutions
To address these challenges, I conducted comprehensive evaluations and implemented targeted solutions. This involved organizing Design Thinking workshops to refine strategic vision and identify key business processes. I developed training modules on Monday.com and AI tools to enhance team capabilities. An audit of supplier contracts with legal assistance ensured compliance and cost-effectiveness. Furthermore, I led the redesign of Think Tanger’s website to improve user experience and engagement.
Defining tools for a Art, Culture and Urbanism Organization
The transformation journey was supported by several advanced tools. Monday.com played a crucial role in project management, facilitating better collaboration and tracking. CRM systems were introduced to streamline customer interactions and improve service delivery. Online booking systems enhanced operational efficiency by automating scheduling processes. These tools collectively contributed to creating a more agile and responsive organizational environment. Comprehensive Financial Audit A thorough financial and administrative audit was conducted for the period 2020-2023 to ensure fiscal responsibility and transparency. This audit revealed areas for cost optimization and provided insights into financial health, enabling informed decision-making for future investments. The findings were instrumental in developing a robust financial strategy that supports sustainable growth. Strategic Plan for Future Growth A new comprehensive strategic plan was developed to steer Think Tanger towards its long-term goals. This plan encompassed various facets including organizational context evaluation, human resources alignment, cross-functional business processes, supplier contract management, finance administration, website redesign, self-financing strategies, and funding from foundations. This holistic approach ensured that all aspects of the organization were aligned towards achieving its mission. By focusing on these key areas with precision and strategic foresight, I was able to drive significant improvements in Think Tanger’s operations and digital footprint, setting the stage for sustained growth and innovation in the art culture design space.
