As an E-commerce Project Manager at Louis Pion and Galerie Lafayette, my mission was clear: expand market reach and enhance user experience. Drawing from years of experience, I successfully developed new markets and implemented an effective expansion strategy. By reconstructing the product catalog, I ensured every product type was managed efficiently, leading to a superior user experience on product pages, tailored with precise data.
Transition to a Modern E-commerce Platform
One of the critical challenges was migrating from Magento 1 to Magento 2. This transition required drafting detailed functional specifications for the site redesign, ensuring that every aspect of the user journey was optimized. Moreover, providing user assistance and conducting comprehensive Magento Back Office training were essential to maintain seamless operations during this transition period.
Streamlined Operations and Enhanced User Experience
To address these challenges, I led teams at SPLIO and ALGOLIA, managing budget constraints while overseeing project arbitration and scope control. My role also involved developing upselling features and supporting the integration of Akeneo PIM. By managing version upgrades for Akeneo and preparing for E2E and UAT phases, I ensured that our systems were robust and ready for any market demands.
Leveraging Advanced E-commerce Tools
Utilizing tools like CEGID for data exchange and Adobe Commerce (Magento) for platform migration was pivotal. Collaborating with Dn'D Agency allowed us to redesign the UX/UI and implement the Akeneo PIM connector effectively. These tools helped in maintaining high standards of operation while enhancing user satisfaction. In essence, my tenure as an E-commerce Project Manager was marked by strategic planning, efficient execution, and a relentless focus on improving both market reach and customer experience.
