Boosting Conversion Rates at Blanc Cerise
I served as an E-commerce Project Manager for the esteemed French home linens brand, Blanc Cerise, from 2021 to 2022. My task was clear-cut but ambitious: optimizing conversion rates through focused marketing strategies and efficient implementation of new features. Known for their high-quality bed sheets, towels, and tablecloths among other products, Blanc Cerise prioritizes comfort and elegance in its design ethos.
Addressing Conversion Rate Issues
Upon my arrival at Blanc Cerise, it was evident that the main issue to tackle was enhancing conversion rates on their e-commerce platform. Despite a portfolio of exquisitely designed items, user experience needed improvement - particularly in terms of a laborious checkout process and unengaging product listings. Additionally, effective task prioritization while operating service provider teams within budget constraints posed another challenge.
User Experience Improvement & Strategic Marketing Approach
o confront these challenges directly, I suggested several improvements primarily centered around user experience enhancement and targeted marketing: Checkout Process Revamp: We streamlined the checkout procedure making it more user-friendly and quicker which resulted in a notable decrease in shopping cart abandonment. Product Listings Overhaul (UX/UI): By adding high-resolution images, comprehensive descriptions and customer reviews to our product listings we not only enhanced their appeal but also equipped users with all necessary information for informed decision-making. Focused Marketing Strategies: We initiated campaigns targeting specific consumer segments based on their buying habits and preferences.
Employing Technology Tools for Enhanced Results
Throughout this project, we utilized several key tools that facilitated our success. Redmine was indispensable for tracking project progress and managing tasks efficiently. The Google Suite provided a robust platform for collaboration, allowing seamless communication between team members and stakeholders.
